Big Trouble in Little China

Everyone has this one movie they like to watch when they feel down or under the weather. Mine is Big Trouble in Little China.

The movie came out in 1986, I was 10 at that time, we’re 34 years later (this really doesn’t make me feel old ;p), and I still love it as much. While some movies age badly, “Big Trouble in Little China” still looks as great as when I’ve first watched it. A real 80’s classic if you ask me.

Kurt Russell who plays the role of Jack Burton is a true 80’s icon with a killing sense of humour. Here are some of my favourite quotes:

Jack Burton: Okay. You people sit tight, hold the fort and keep the home fires burning. And if we’re not back by dawn… call the president.

Jack Burton: Everybody relax, I’m here.

A perfect movie to grab some popcorn and relax because John Carpenter is about to take you on one hell of a ride.
