The Be Good Tanyas
The other day, as we were (re-re-re-)watching Breaking Bad during diner, I noticed the song Waiting Around to Die by The Be Good Tanyas. I already knew this great cover of the original song from Towns Van Zandt thanks to a game that we both completed not so long ago: The Walking Dead – The Final Season.
Lately, video games make me discover more music than… Well, it seems that video games are my only source of music since, you know, radios are dead.

I also rewatched Breaking Bad from start to finish and as soon as I heard that song, I went straight to Spotify to find it 🙂
Btw, rewatching the show gave me a totally different view of Skyler and Walt Jr. I found them annoying the first time and this time I sympathized with them.
There was a moment, in one of our past reruns, we almost sympathized too with Skyler and Walt Jr.
But I really, really, really, hate Skyler. She is fugly, over-controlling, kitsch, entitled and boring as fuck. If you ask me, she is the reason why Walter has cancer. She should have stayed with Ted, they’re perfect together.
Now, Walter isn’t a good person, not a good husband and certainly not a good dad. He’s a liar and a sociopath and living with him must be a fucking nightmare. But Skyler’s reactions are so cringe, with her cigarets, cheating with Ted and playing the silent game when she’s mad…
